Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger (PCHE)

Core Highlights
  • Max working pressure: 60 MPa
  • Temperature range: -196℃ ~ 900℃
  • Compact size, 1/6 volume vs shell & tube heat exchanger

Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger (PCHE) is a microchannel welded heat exchanger, widely adopted as core cryogenic equipment for FLNG and FSRU offshore natural gas systems.

Product Overview

Thanks to their compact size, high efficiency, reliability, high heat transfer area density, and resistance to both high pressure and cryogenic temperatures, Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (PCHEs) meet the requirements for main cryogenic heat exchangers in offshore floating LNG (FLNG) systems. In recent years, they have increasingly become the preferred choice for this application and serve as critical equipment for LNG-FSRUs.

Key Features

High Compactness & Efficiency

High heat transfer area density, ultra-high heat transfer efficiency for cryogenic service.

Wide Temperature & Pressure Envelope

Operate reliably from -196°C up to 900°C, withstand pressure up to 60 MPa.

High Structural Safety

Diffusion bonding construction, minimal leakage risk, excellent weld strength.

Light Weight & Small Footprint

Only 1/6 volume and weight compared with conventional shell-and-tube heat exchangers for equal thermal duty.
